Maybe [hair strokes] so sorry you're finding it tough at the moment, you will of course snap out of it, perhaps try and do do some lovely things for yourself. You will get there, lovely.

Secret try and ignore the FB stuff for the time being. I have to say I deactivated my account a couple of months ago and haven't looked back, it wasn't related to pregnancy announcements i was just getting bored of the whole thing really! I must admit i feel quite liberated by not being sucked into it all. It was great when we were living abroad as we could keep in touch with everyone, but to be honest most of my best friends aren't on it and neither are any of my most immediate family so I couldn't see much point to it.

Hmmm Generic Game of Thrones you say??? I have never watched it. Way to go with the smacking, keep it up. I got a +ve on an opk yesterday so am also carrying on with the smacking too!

Little how are you doing?

Bartlet, Far I do actually tell DH and he just obliges now, last night he said to me all matter of fact like 'well lets go make that baby then'. Although I may have plans to jump him tonight that he's not aware of yet!

Imps is it your first day of your new job today? Good luck!

Pip did you POAS?

Solars · 23/04/2012 09:59

Oh yes and good luck Sweetie & Mr Sweetie!

TheLittleFriend · 23/04/2012 10:35

Morning all

maybe glad you're back, we've missed you. I'm sorry to hear you're feeling down though. I wish I could offer some advice, but we all know this ttc malarky is just one looong waiting game, and we're all doing everything we can to get our bfp's. Lots of love to you xx

Good luck to the sweeties today

bean I absolutely love the phrase Clicking Tock. Please use it!!

Well I'm very peed off with af. After being all moody that she was about to arrive on Saturday, all pre-af symptoms, including spotting, disappeared yesterday. Which of course made me get my hopes up. Then I got a BFN this morning Sad. And now the spotting is back SadSad. I've got such a longing for a baby at the moment, more than I have at any other point of ttc too.

Anyway, enough about me. I'd better go and do some hoovering. I don't think mning is what my dd's pre-school mornings are for!

Hurray maybe's back! We've missed you. How are things other than 'difficult'? Hope you're ok.

Good luck to Mr and Mrs sweetie today.

Glad you're ok smegs. It's been said already, but never have I been so pleased to hear someone's got thrush and ms.

Hello to everyone else. I'm having a bit of a Fead Huck of a day. Highlights have included my office pass breaking, needing to print off my thesis to take to the binders, and the printers (all of them) not working. Not having photos to send to a publisher that needs a photo and being apprehended by my supervisor in the corridor for an impromptu meeting, when I haven't done any work since I last saw her. And someone has removed the kettle from the work kitchen and the cafe is shut for the hols.

Best go and vent and some humans. Hope the rest of you are well. xxx

Oh Whims what an utter arse of a day. Maybe some nice lunch will help?

Sorry about the BFN Little

Thanks for the welcome backs everyone. Other than TTC, things are ok Smile Did have some lovely time off with DH, spent loads of time on the allotment (despite the horrendous weather) and it is looking amazing! Also pulled myself into the 21st century with one of those iPads Grin

Back at work today though, and wishing I could be off with DH and the pup Sad

Now, tell me. Who has had BFPs while I have been away? And who are we waiting for to test?

Gossip, please.

ScrambledSmegs · 23/04/2012 12:38

Hullo all. It's got to be a quick post from me as my ms is so bad. It's ramped up to a place where I think I need to go to the doctor/hospital. Can't keep anything down, can't sleep because of the nausea Sad. I was on omeprazole with DD though so I guess it's to be expected.

Little sorry to hear of the BFN. I hope you're doing ok, it's rough when you get your hopes up then AF makes a late appearance.

Maybe it's great to see you back, hope we can help get your maybe mojo back Wink. Ttc is so emotionally draining, take good care of yourself. Ooh, and are there any new photos of the pup?

whims what a crappy day! I hope it improves soon.

bean I like clicking tock! Definitely worth a namechange.

to everyone else. I'm sorry I've run out of stamina/brain to write any more. Be back later. x

whimsicalname · 23/04/2012 12:41

Mmm. My soup looked like sick maybe and I want a cup of tea.

I did, however, just discover some emergency chocolate, so I might eat that.

I can't think who's had a bfp since you went awol. smegs poas so she could go out and drink, and got an ironic one, with a wibble over the weekend. far and pop you know about. I got a bfp followed 36 hours later by af and a bit of a meltdown.

Someone had twins I think. imps left work. We got some newbies geek, pip and megjes but then she moved house and disappeared. Someone else will be able to fill you in better. I'm a slacker and can never remember who said what.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/04/2012 13:00

I like that round up Whims I too got a BFP followed by AF. Sucks arse doesn't it. Eat the emergency chocolate. I am starting the Dukkan diet again today. Yawn.

Smegs BFP!!! Is the wibble over now? I hope you are ok. I shall put some more pup photos up when I am home. He is looking too cute. Please go and get checked re the ms. If no fluids are staying down, then that's not good at all. It's at least worth a phone call x

Ooooh, newbies. I love newbies. I remember megjes. Hello Geek and Pip if I remember rightly one of you is a fellow knitter....

PipIsOutNow · 23/04/2012 13:03

Hello all!!!

Cant believe how quickly this thread moves!!!

I didnt POAS this morning as I have no stick to PO!!! Haha!! I am off out later to get a first response if I can find one. My boobs are still so sore!!! And no sign of AF yet either.Still some hope I guess.

Sorry about your BFN little it's so frustrating isnt it!!!

I was just thinking, I dont think anyone has had a BFP yet have they?

Thinking of you all, but am too tired/brain dead to reply to everyone separately. My ds doesnt like sleep and I've been up since 5am with work

PipIsOutNow · 23/04/2012 13:04

x post with maybe

I'm not the fellow knitter but I am a cupcake maker!!! So I can make us all some yummy cakes. Cake solves everything!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/04/2012 13:14

I too am a baker Pip!! Cakes are the way forward. As are biscuits, pies, breads... Grin

Fingers crossed with that pee stick tomorrow. I think the superdrug own brands are meant to be good too

Geeklette · 23/04/2012 13:18

hello maybe, the fellow knitter is meee :) glad to see you're around and about again, and hope we can help to life your spirits.

So excited - got my first + POAOPKS today so deffo time for the stack of four little blue pills to go down to three. Have threatened MrGeek with the idea that he might have to do it tomorrow too!

Just my luck that proof that Month Squiffy isn't anovulatory had to be in work's toilet. I think the whole office heard my squeal Blush

Will try to catch up properly tonight, just posting quickly now while I'm on my own before any of the team get back.

Geeklette · 23/04/2012 13:19

that should say 'lift', not 'life'

stoopid fingers!

PipIsOutNow · 23/04/2012 13:21

Yay a fellow baker!!! Thanks maybe it's the not knowing for definite that's the most frustrating, if I knew I wasnt, I could move on but waiting for AF to make her move or not) is more frustrating than ever!!!

Where are you with TTC?

I dont have a Superdrug by me so will go out hunting for FR later xxx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/04/2012 13:22

Thanks Geek you lot always manage to lift my spirits Smile

Hurrah for your BFPOPK! Love how you are 'threatening' MrGeek with the prospect of twice in a row Grin DH has come up with the idea of at least once every other day this month. And I am pleased to say he is sticking to it Blush Grin

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 23/04/2012 13:23

Wow, what a day whims Shock I hope it gets better!

:( smegs that sounds awful. You're going to a GP about thrush anyway, aren't you? So you can have a two-for-one appointment :)

Really sorry to hear you're having a hard time maybe :(

whimsicalname · 23/04/2012 13:29

Well, that's the introductions sorted maybe. Sorry to hear about your bfp/af. I guess that explains the leave of absence. I hope you're feeling better now. Are you working on a 'if I can't be pregnant, I can at least be thin' rationale for your diet? Go easy on yourself. I keep going on exercise binges or diets I think to try and have some control over my body. Surely I must be able to make it do ONE of the things I want it to do...

Perhaps I should just go and get a tattoo?

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 23/04/2012 13:33

Ooh Geek I am excited for you! There are a few of us ov'ing in tandem - you, me, Solars, Bartlet I think. I may be wrong there as I don't have a MN spreadsheet, just my unreliable memory.

Smegs I agree with Pop/Fluffy - get to the doctor lovely.

Maybe sounds like you had a lovely week off. I have one of them there iPads too - it's great!

Whim I definitely prescribe emergency chocolate too. I've prescribed myself some too to ensure a healthy egg is popped this month. I'm sure it works like that.

Little allow me to karate chop your AF for messing with your head like that. My last two have been the same - spotting for a day and cramps, then nothing for 2 days, then it has arrived properly. I convinced myself it might be implantation both times, but obviously it wasn't. Seems to make it harder when she does come properly. My theory is that the B6 I am taking to lengthen my LP is starting to work hence the spotting but not quite proper AF. I don't chart or use the shag dictator, so I don't know what my LP actually is, but my cycles are only 24 days-ish. Anyway, I'm sure this cycle will be ours so we won't need to worry again!

GenericDietCola · 23/04/2012 13:34

Whim get a tattoo of a rat being squashed by a baseball bat.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/04/2012 13:39

Fluffy are you a name changer? Grin

Generic I feel uber cool with my Ipad. I asked DH something the other the day, and he replied 'I don't knoe, lets consult the Ipad@ Grin (disclaimer, we are from Essex, and DH is very Essex, therefore nothing like this would normally come out of his mouth Grin )

Whims I know exactly what you mean. It is probably about the control (and the fact that I really don't like my body) I went through a very bad patch with food/exercise. I also have a tattoo Wink

Pip I am now 14 months into TTC, with a MC and a few chemical pregnancies to boot. It's bloomin exhausting. How about you?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/04/2012 13:46

Oh my, apologies for the spelling mistakes Blush

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 23/04/2012 14:07

Sorry maybe - I'm a rebranded PopcornMouse :o

Who keeps a MN spreadsheet? Shock that is beyond organised... Envy
