Ok girls my friend is on the pill and has been on and off since she had her 5yr old dd. Not the most regular person in taking the pill (though hasnt missed any) and does go out every now and then and has the odd one or two (so 2 speak )drinks.
Anyway for the past week and a half shes been feeling very nauseous, gone totally off coffee (strange cos she drinks that all the time) achey breasts, tired, constipation etc.......All the signs that she is pg.
Basically shes not due her Af for another 2 weeks yet so i suggested she stopped her pill mon this week to induce a breakthrough bleed....Its now thurs and no sign of a bleed. However she did do an early responce pg test and was neg, but this is bearing in mind shes not due on for a cpl of weeks.

Could she indeed be pg? and is it too soon to be feeling any symptoms. I cant remember how long you need to wait for a breakthrough bleed i thought it was 3 days but could it take right up to the 7 days?

any advice would be great, youd think id know as im 22 weeks pg myself!!

I would imagine that if she's getting simptoms like this already then if she was pg, then she would have been pg from previous cycle not this one, in which case it's likely the pg test would have been positive. Breakthrough bleed can take up to 7 days to appear, even more so if you stop the pill mid packet. I'd say it's highly unlikely that she's pg.
