DP had a vasectomy a few years ago (prior to meeting me), I've been feeling really queasy for days and AF is 10 days late. I am in denial and thus am yet to POAS, mainly because I just don't think it could be possible. I'm right.....right? Please tell me I'm right (a baby right now wouldn't be ideal)

Didn't want to leave you unanswered. I don't know what the chances of it being possible are but I guess the only way you'll know for sure is to test.

Sorry not much help at all. Good luck with whatever happens Smile

According to Dr Google, a vasectomy is over 99% effective (which is better than most other forms of contraception). However, 10 days is significantly late for AF, do you have any other reasons for it to be late, eg. PCOS, stress, etc? We may be able to speculate but you know the only way to know for definite.

I hope you get the answer you are looking for.

It is possible, you need to POAS to find out for sure. A man's tubes can join themselves back up even if the vasectomy was a "success".

well I did used to have PCOS which was diagnosed immediately after I came off the pill, but it went on to resolve itself and I had my DD, this was a long time ago now (about 6 or 7 years ago) but always a chance of it coming back again. Will get myself a test this afternoon I think.
