Pelvic Scan today

Hi ladies,

I am going for a pelvic scan appointment today as part of on-going tests and mainly because I have pushed for one! I experience heavy spotting and discharge post ovulation right up to AF

I'm wondering what specifically the scan will reveal if there are any problems?

Are there any questions I could ask the scanographer?

Things I think they could potentially look for/find:

• PCO (lots of small cysts in your ovaries) or any single large cysts.

• any unusual form to your uterus

• fibroids

• thickness of womb lining

there may be other things, not sure.

My sonographer wouldn't tell me what she'd found , I had to ask the GP.

I've decided I'm going to push them as much as I can to see if they will tell me anything while they're looking!
