Leaking nipples??

We've been ttc for 4 months. I have a DS who I bf for 7 months and stopped entirely 14 months ago. I think I'm 9 or 10 dpo but very irregular cycles. Yesterday and today I thought I'd felt a bit of nipple discharge so gave slight squeeze this morning and sure enough, milk. I've not leaked at all in 14 months.
Has anyone had this in very early pregnancy, or when not pregnant??
Did HPT 11 days ago which was negative (thought the positive opk might have been pregnancy) and don't really want to test for a few more days. Af due today or tomorrow.

Know I just have to wait really but the nipple leak is giving me ridiculous amounts of hope and just need a bit of a calm down slap really!!
Thanks

No experience with this, but it does sound promising! Fingers crossed for you. Do try to hold out until at least 12dpo before testing, though, no point in testing before that as the b-hcg levels will not be high enough. Let me know how you get on!! :)

Thanks for your reply. The waiting is dreadful. I'm cd38 today and wish I still had my Pre baby regular 25 day cycles!!

You need to seek medical advice from the GP as excess prolactin hormone (you're also producing milk) can also interfere with ovulation. Excess prolactin levels can be treated with tablets.

I would have blood tests done to see what your hormone levels are like as you have irregular cycles also.

Thanks atilla. I had some basic hormones checked, including prolactin, a few months ago to investigate irregular cycles and all normal. Af now late, so may repeat test soon.
Thanks for replying.
