chlorine from swimming

Im on CD14, OPK -ve, creamy/watery cm. Due to OV in next couple of days.

we are due to go swimming tonight (kids are really looking forward to it) im a bit concerned - and probably very naiive, but will the chlorine in the water affect chances this month?

Dont want to create a hostile environment up there! need all his little swimmers healthy and doing their job!

Someone knowledgeable may come along. In the meantime could you have a bath afterwards and do a few pelvic floors to flush any chlorine away?

I've never noticed sucking up swimming pool water before, have you?

Perhaps my sedate breaststroke isn't vigorous enough?

If you do notice leaking afterwards I second some pelvic floors and if you're really worried you could use some sperm friendly lube to make things more accomodating up there.

I don't think you've anything to worry about though

Think it depends if you do bomb dives from the top board or not

I am wierdly fertile it seems so probably not the best person to answer (not always a good thing )BUT I don't think water gets anywhere important anyway. I was in the pool up to four times a week when I concieved including doing aqua - if it had any effect my egg did not notice

Hi I agree with Trickle. I have had no issues conceiving while regularily swimming, but will keep watching this thread incase someone with actual knoewledge comes along!

been 'swimming' tho TBH it hardly counted as swimming per se. very sedate, no actual swimming, and no open leg action .

RUE: on occasion i have actually done minor 'leaking' thing in the past - but was very careful today and no leakage occured .
