Losing the plot!

Started using the clear blue as couldn't interpret the poas Internet ones and still not got a smiley :( when intake it out there is a faint second line tho? possible I ov quite late as have a long cycle anywhere between 33 and 46 days also possible pcos so have a scan coming up but worrying that I don't even ov :( feeling very sorry for myself just turned 30 ttc no 1 cycle 3

I've just been reading Zita West's book "Guide to getting pregnant" and as I understand it, it is the pre ovulation phase that can vary in length. The phase after you ovulate is unlikely to be longer than 16 days. So if your longest cycle is 46 days you could be ovulating on day 30. On that basis keep going with the poas and the smiley face will come. Good luck x

If you're cycles are up to 46 days long, you wouldn't get a smiley face yet - usual ovulation is about 10-15 days before the date of your next period, which given your cycles could be as late as cycle day 31-36. So don't panic yet :)

Thanks ladies, was sitting in the loo as work and had a bit if a wobble haha! I got what looked like a positive line on a poas day 17 on cycle 1 but still not sure about them, smiley seems easy enough to interpret! Thinking I haven't had any ov type cramps yet either, moment of madness I hope thanks again c

I say ov cramps but who knows, it's usually a sharp ache/stab to the left or right of the bikini line kinda where I imagine my ovaries are, in hindsight it'll be ideal if I ov late as I've ordered some preseed and instead cups on Friday
