Hi title explains most of it actually, been ttc and then had first positive test today, all be it very faint, not a lot of symptoms though and a similar thing happened at before, very faint positives then not much symptoms and started bleeding when next period was due so it was like I'd just missed one period and when i went for early preg scan she said it was what they called a chemical pregnancy and it basicaly never took....which was easier to deal with than the missed misscarriage I'd had before especialy as there was nothing there to remove afterwards....but I'd never actually heard of chemical pregnancies before and wondered how common they are? I know that having lots of symptoms is always a good sign and I've had a lot of sickness in past pregnancies and usually gone off tea/wine before period is even late.....so I'm just worried its going to happen again. I suppose atleast after the last time the nice lady said if i got pregnant again i could go for scan at around 6 weeks i think she said so that will be nice if i get that far!

It's estimated that chemical pregnancies happen in up to half of all cycles when ttc. We know how common they are due to early testing.

Are you late?

Yes but only just late cycle varies but if it were a 28day one I'd be 3 days late

SIL had a very faint line, and my DN is now a very healthy 8mo. Friend had a very bold BFP and sadly didn't make 8 weeks. It happens. As GoGoBananas said they happen alot, but theres no need to read into the strength of your BFP line. Sure it'll be 3rd time sticky ;)
