Over the last year or two we've had a thread for those who are Just Shagging. Confused by OPKs, too lazy to temp, can't read a chart to save your life? Not quite ready to forgo the Wine? Well stick with us!

Of course it's been SO successful that we're down to a tiny handful of regular posters, as everyone else has graduated and we'll ignore the fact that those of us that are left are probably way beyond Just Shagging. But it's an ethos rather than a strict rule. Come and join the fun .

No rules here, other than EWCM is hereafter known as Pant Snot. AF is known as the Evil Red Tide of Doom (ERTD). Viroids is our name of choice, the reason is long since lost in the annals of time. If you really feel the need to take a test, Gu Ramekins are what all the classy birds are using. And of course, drinking is essential. Sometimes, we even remember to have sex

So don your shag capes and throw your legs in the air caution to the wind :)

We finally JS in Chez horse, hurray! Will do again tonight if DS stops teething.

It is sunny here, the place is still a shit tip and I have little inkling to be indoors. We have spent the last 2 nights on a mattress on the sitting room floor, the first night with DS next to us- no JSing there! Had a quick JS last night but we admitted defeat halfway through as we were both so knackered, the mind was willing but the body was not able!! Made up for it this morning though :o
My old car has just passed it's MOT which is a huge relief so we WILL go on holiday (Cinders, you shall go to the ball!) and I have just potted up some flowers to make the front of the house in some way pleasing :)

Not much JSing going on here over the last few days. We started the month of quite well though and there has been pant snot today (never paid it much attention before!) so hoping we may have hit the 2 or 3 days before.

DD2 has been plaguing us this week - hence no Jsing - sick bug, cough and the whingiest 3 year old tantrums ever!

Hopefull she will be better and less whingy tomorrow so JSing my recommence... although DD1 are walking across the island tomorrow so may be too tired to do anything but sleep for the next week.

woke up at 6:05 am, could not sleep anymore, went to toilet, checked some news, and returned to bed after falling sleeping when I woke up again at 7:45 I was waiting for DH to wake up ("let me finish my dreams" he said...) I did another LH surge ovulation test as I was used to... I was rocked to see a line that could easily be as dark as a positive! Would this mean that I am ovulating twice? Or preparing to ovulate again regardless of the first time as if I had not ovulate the first time at all after all?... dunno, but I think we will try to do some JShagging before going out...in case we are letting an opportunity pass. This would be day 20th of my month, and since MC my period has been of about 28-29 (before was 33 or so). Has any of you had a similar experience?

pastoreta it's confusing experiences like you've had that put me off using ovulation strips. They seem to cause a lot of hassle that I just can't be doing with. There's a few threads on here that have regular OPK users. Might be worth posting your question there? I have a feeling you won't get much sense out of us just shagging variety .

Hi ladies is there room for one more over here?! I'm also completely new to MN, we have just decided to TTC the lazy way - and having only come off the pill last week I'm expecting to be here for quite a while!

Has anyone else had experience TTC after being on the pill long term? I was on Microgynon for 14 years with no breaks and am a bit worried it could take forever to work it's way out of my system :(

Hey lolly thank you for your reply. i am starting to completely agree with you on the OPK strips.. I have been also using two different brands, and they never matched regardless of being used at the very same time.

Abt the post, sooorry! i am just learning about the Mums Net still, and getting to differentiate the forums. Sorry, wont happen again , it is just easy to get carried on when you like a forum. ;)

We are knackered as well...too much action, I wish we were "hangovered" instead! We both like JS and thought it would be ok to go to "extreme" ahaah a week in a row almost every night and few morning if we don't catch that egg aahahah! demmit! i am going on vacation instead!

Sunny again, we are def going for a walk ... we need to leave the sheets behind regardless of the OPK strips double predictions!

I'm now 1 day late but who knows what that means. Should be 26/27 day cycle last month was 33 and so today is day 29. I'm not holding my breath as I am convinced that I almost delayed my period last month by convincing myself I was pregnant.

Off out for lunch later. Then a bit of dreaded cleaning before next week.

I think that I took about 6 months to get the pill out my system last time- but that's just a guess.

I am on day 32 and not tested yet. Too much of a wimp. Felling like I'm pregnant- so let's hope that ERTD doesn't get me.

Hello Girls... this is Pastoreta again... I changed my alias to LHStripsTease after realizing I think I got a bit addicted to them. As some of you already said, I also think I just got tired of them... i am just hoping we hit the Jackpot these past days,.... ALso, we went to a Daunt Bookstore today and I ended up at the baby-mother section checking for baby names... and this is the first month we are trying after all! Waw! can't wait to next week. promise (now) i will try not to test till very late....

We have probably surpass the deed expectations...ahaha! DH headed to the pub to watch Manchester City play after all this looong weekend and last week... guess it is good to get some time on his own, although we met for a late afternoon tea.

Something, Kicking and TiredTeddy any news yet... let us know when you can, I am crossing my fingers since yesterday.. ;) But if not, no worries neither, little by little!
Welcome KittenKatzen! I have two cousins that had been on the pill for quite long 8 years for sure, and they got pregnant (both of them) the same month they quit it and TTC. So, the body is quite wise, and I would say don't worry much about it otherwise you will put more pressure on... no? ;)

tiredteddy - ironically, your ovulation dictates when your get your AF. Stress plays no part in delaying AF. If you ovulate late, AF is late.

So simples !!! But yet not...

Thanks CHILD I can't help but hope that's for sure. KICKING I do know that's how it works really just seems strange at times how things can change without reason. My last cycle was bizarre at 32 days, I just hope that's not a new pattern I'm falling into as I had just got used to 6 months of very short 25/26 day cycles. Am going to wait until another 32 days before testing if ERTD doesn't show up by then.

And LHStipetease, loving the new name made me chuckle x

Ahaha! Thanks TiredTeddy, i think I only realised what's your name about after this week of "JS" trying to catch the egg... i really felt like that, tired. Can't wait to next week for real JS without thinking about having to DTD. hehe.

BTW, after the MC I had early September my period became more regular, actually 28 days exactly, like the moon! i had always been irregular but more than 30 days...even 35 for no apparent reason. I was told that these things happen after a curettage or even after having anesthesia! dunno.

Well, tomorrow will be another day!... "t's not dark yet" like in Bob Dylan's song!

Ha ha LHSTRIPTEASE, never thought of my name like that actually put when DS2 was very small and I felt permanently tired. I suppose it is now accurate again .

wow the symptoms have started to set in now! shooting pains through boobs and achey sore feeling weeing a bit more cramps and tierdness and headaches really.
