Those who've done ivf... Did you test early?

my embies are only five days old, so too early to test at the mo, but I'm thinking about testing starting from next Sunday.

Did you test early? Did it help get you head around the result ( whatever it was)
Which tests did you use?
What day did you start testing from?

I had one five day blastocyst transferred on 7th March and they gave me a test date of 19th March. I tested every day from 5dpt on 12th March and got a BFP from the first test.
I had quite a low strength trigger shot so that would have been out of my system earlier than some stronger ones

Oh forgt to say, I used first response and the first couple of days the lines were faint but there. I wouldn't have been able to get through the 2nd week wait without test but I suppose it helped that it was a BFP

I was thinking that the earlier tests I might get a positive from hcg from the drugs, but figured if I do one daily, the truth will show itself eventually!
