Yes! Had PMT type symptoms, light bleeding and cramps. Turned out I was PG.

Aero · 02/02/2006 21:37

Yes - happened to me too with ds1. Cramps were awful and I kept wondering why I hadn't 'come on'. Wasn't until a friend suggested pregnancy that it even entered my mind. Good luck.

Pip · 02/02/2006 21:43

Yes with both pregnancies. Good luck.

Yes, I didn't bother to test because the cramps had me so convinced AF was coming (hmm, not for another 18 months she wasn't...). Best of luck!

jane313 · 02/02/2006 22:13

yes. I was taking tons of ibuprofen and it was only cos they went on for twice as long as normal that i did a test. (after someone telling me that she heard it was a sympton)

Then of course I was worried sick I damaged the baby with the drugs.

But since ttc no 2 and not succeeding I have the same thing, cramps for twice as long as usual with no nice +ve at the end.

Yes, with my first and I took ibuprofen too thinking it was AF arriving. After a few days I thought Af was taking a long time to get going, so I did a test and hey presto.

Spod we could be in the same boat Im not rying but have just felt a little weird today. sore boobs and a tight feeling in my stomach. I cant remember when my last period was, which isnt very helpful. Im getting quite excited but i am not sure if I am talking myself into it. I am now secretly hoping that I am. If im not the way im feeling is enough to convince me that the time is right to try again. Will keep my fingers crossed for you

Moomin · 02/02/2006 22:26

i had cramps the week i was due on but i also had very sore and big boobs and i felt weird - very butterfly-y and nervous, kept waking in the night. the cramps carried on for the first 6 weeks

lucy5 · 02/02/2006 22:29

ooh moomin youre making me worse

Moomin · 02/02/2006 22:42

believe me I'd had every sympton on god's earth after ttc for 2 years! i think i 'knew' this was the month though because there was no escaping the size of my boobs or how they felt when i took my bra off! i think this caused the sleeplessness and excitement - i was soooo nervous in case it turned out to be another disappointing month! oh, the other thing was that i was very hungry and thirsty. all the best- hope you get what you hope for xx

Yes, all 3 times. Quite mild cramps with some brownish spotting.

lucy5 · 02/02/2006 22:48

When i got preggers with dd, i just knew before i tested but I think im talking myself into it.

Anyway fingers crossed spod, let me know how you get on. Im going to leave testing for a few days as i would be more upset about a negative test than a period, if that makes sense. Anyway best of luck!

mummygow · 02/02/2006 22:49

yes - I did with dd we where in America and my sister took her af and all week I kept saying to her - your so luck I just wish mne would come as this cramp is kiilling me - anyway they didnt come and 2 weeks later I thought I had a caught a bug on the aeroplane home and phoned my doctor who told me that she thought I could be pregnant (had been trying for months and she knew)and hey presto sure enough!!

Yes. I had cramps and turbulent emotions, far worse than normal PMT, at the early stages of all my pregnancies.

MissChief · 03/02/2006 09:33

yes.

ProfessorG · 03/02/2006 11:12

Psychobabble I felt sick too but I thought it was the heat and my mum has pills that stop you feeling sick and I asked her did she have any but she didnt - just as well!!

Callmemadam · 03/02/2006 23:24

Spod, yes, with all 4 pregnancies! Cramps started about 5 days after 'it', and lasted for up to 10 days. First time I was sure I was going to come on, on the others I recognised it. Apparantly its the implantation of the egg that does it. Good luck and let us know!
