An odd month. Started using cheapie ov kit but only got vv faint line 13 days ago. Had spotting on Thurs and - I thought - start of AF on Friday. Today, however, nothing in the AF department. NADA. Ok, well one tiny dot (TMI).

So, because I am far too hopeful I took superdrug test earlier this evening and got a very very faint line. Took another just now and got another very very very faint line.

Am I going crazy? Could they be evap lines? I have more tests so will do one with FMU tomorrow. Feeling guilty now though because I had when AF came :(

if u saaw the line before the 3mins were up then its positive if10 mions after or more then evap line.
best thing to do wait till morning and do another or if you can wait till monday do it then for a clearer result

Thank you both for replying! I read both tests within the time limits but I did them by 'dipping' into a cup rather than POAS - will this make a difference?

My mum was completely smashed when she conceived me. And a faint line is a line, and is therefore a positive....as long as its within the ten minutes!

no not at all as long as was old clean cup lol, i use an old lid for mine doesnt matter what way its done as long as you get a clear reading and container is clean before hand

Yikes! It really could be real then. Will have to retest obsessively tomorrow to feel certain I think.

Many thanks - I shall try not to feel guilty, though I hear it is good practice for the rest of pregnancy and all of parenting life

BFP! tested again this morning and got a more distinct line. Just went and got digital and says 'pregnant 1-2 weeks'! Yay!
