Maybe are you using internet cheapies? 'Cos I understand that they're a bit tight on the amount of dye they use so some will only ever come up with faint lines - the dye must vary so some will be fainter than others.

Ooh Imps, Olives and Whim are all preggo with twins. Can I have twins too please? I love all the Christmas twin names, especially Mince and Pie - they work for any combination of genders too. Although I am brooking for one of each.

Beedle I'm sorry about AF. I think I've had a near miss too, AF was definitely more painful and heavier than normal. But you are blooming, welcome to day 1 of your pregnancy!

Oh scarlett what a shock! But I agree with everyone else ? conception by IVF isn't a failure at all, in fact, getting a baby at the end of it (or via ironic BFP in the interim) makes it a downright success :)

whims FR are great ? I think tesco cheapies are the same strength as well but I'm not 100%? Google will know. (They worked for me 1 day post AF-due-date, but I did have to go and brush my teeth etc while the line got it's act together.)

We have a lot of twins in our family, including my twin brothers (who were an accident that Mum had when she was 18 - can you imagine! ) but luckily the scan showed a single dragon baby :o

I think FR are the bestest by far, internet cheapies are very very unreliable in my experience.

Scarlett I just scrolled back and saw your news. It must have been such a shock for you. But please look on the positive side - your consultant sounds really good, and you're pretty much guaranteed a baby now :) Whether by IVF, or by ironic post-referral BFP! And at least your IVF treatment will be on the NHS!

Just as an aside, I'm on CD22, either 11 or 12 DPO! I normally get to about 9DPO when AF turns up, so I'm really pleased, although a 23 day cycle is quite normal for me. The only thing is, I'm supposed to be going on a boozy night out tomorrow, so if AF doesn't turn up today or overnight, do you think I should POAS? Just so I can binge drink to my heart's content, y'see.
