Coming off antidepressants....

Anyone have experience of coming off antidepressants then getting pregnant? Hoping to stop taking ads in June (ish), will have been on them for 8 months by then.

Touch wood feeling great now!

The reason I ask is we are hoping to begin TTC late summer (as long as I'm well and off the ads) - and I wondered if anyone else had experienced this?

no but i suppose it depends on what it is you are taking as they all have different weening/withdrawl effects.

i came off when i discovered i was pregnant!!!

all was well... and lovely pg hormones made me feel better than i had for years!

That's good to hear. I had awful AND but no PND after ds, so would also be worried about this!
Luckily I have a fab GP who referred me to a specialist at hospital so will be able to access them again.
Starlover, do you still feel good now?

most of the time... have had a few blips, but haven't gone back on ad's again....
but that said, i wouldn't rule it out. i can't say i feel as good as i did when i was pregnant, but it's still better than it was beforehand!
