AF finished on Friday on CD 7 then I started bleeding yesterday on CD 11, a proper AF type bleed, still bleeding now with no signs of it drying up.

What's happening? We're supposed to be SWI Sad

That's not normal. Please go and see your gp. There could be lots of reasons for mid cycle bleeding but there are some causes it's worth ruling out as early as possible. Good luck.

Good advice from magnum, but in addition, have you been having any other treatments, i.e. acupuncture or tests? As this can sometimes encourage the movement of blood, but again, speak to your professionals about this as early as you can x

Low progesterone? How old are you? (this is more likely if in late 30s/40s).

Go see your dr and ask for some blood tests to be done!

I'm 33, have been TTC no.2 for approx a year. Had an early MC in Januaury but things seemed to have returned to normal last couple of cycles, until now.

I'm not having any treatment but did start taking agnus castus on Monday, could that have had such a reaction so quickly after taking it?

Howdy Right, a very similar experience to my own. I too am 33 and TTC no 2 (although only for 5 months so far) and had an early MC on Christmas Day. Crimeny, that was festive... Anyway, during my 1st post MC cycle I started to bleed heavily when I thought I was ovulating - I had a reflexology treatment the day before I started to bleed and my reflexologist told me I was ready to ovulate and my ovaries were going crazy! Presume it was the treatment that brought it on. That prob doesn't help you given that you're not having any treatments but perhaps you can take comfort in the fact that I've had normal cycles since. With monotonous regularity...

Oh wow, merry christmas...Not! Sad You poor thing, that just have been awful. Did you know you were PG?

The bleeding is slower than it was this morning so I'm hoping it will continue to tail off and finish within a day or two. If it's still there by Friday, when I'm off work, I'll ring the GP and make an appt.

Thanks all for the advice. Smile
