Does anyone actually ever GET a BFP on those 'early' supermarket tests?

I mean the ones that are from four days before your period is due?

I have got a fairly pretty evap on one and my period is due on Sunday or Monday. I went out intending to get an FRER but came back with the cheapy version from Morrisons, as this baby needs to be done on a budget Grin

So I just wondered, iffff I ended up hypothetically going and getting another pack of these fellas and still don't get a positive tomorrow, or Friday, does that mean definitively out of the game or are they just basically useless?

Thankyou kindly Smile

Btw it's an evap as it took 7 hours to appear.

They aren't useless but 4 days before is the very earliest for some of them.

If you don't want to splash out on FRER then I would choose Superdrug own brand non-digital instead of Morrisons. They are almost as good as FRER in my opinion and gave me a definite result at 11dpo.

Thankyou SO much Smile I'll have a look in SD when I can get into town.

Maybe 5 or 6 days is really pushing the poor things Grin

So does this mean I can get excited about my evap then?

I did! On both Sainsburys and Superdrug own brand ones (didn't trust just one brand) :) hope you get the result you are looking for soon

I got a bfp on on internet cheapies very very early - about 10dpo. I got mine from ebay, paid for normal delivery and they came the next day. You get 30 too, so can test as often as you want!

thankyou gals Smile It prob depends on the sensitivity doesn't it? I heard some ebay ones are about 10 miu or something. Which is really good.

Too late to bother this month as I'll know in a few days anyway but if it didn't work this time, at least I'll know for next Smile

Thankyou

I just got a BFP on a clear blue digital :) but have been testing on cheap ones I bought off amazon (20 for less than £3) since Monday and they were all positive though slightly faint so I guess they work just as well. Clear blue was just for confirmation. Monday was about 12dpo.

It's incredibly hard to be patient when ttc ( I used over 10 sticks since Monday :D). I hope you get your desired result.

GOODLUCK!!!!

heyhey!!!! Well done!!! Smile That's brill news. Congratulations Thanks

I'm thinking perhaps best to wait till 12, 13 or even Shock 14dpo before testing again, though I know as soon as I can get anywhere to buy another test I probably will...I'm hopeless!
