5 weeks since mc and still no AF

I mc'd at 6+1, very straightforward etc but still no sign of AF returning. Could I be pg or am I bing too hopeful?!
I know you're all gonna say it's probably too early but I live in hope!

It is possible that you have conceived at the first opportunity but it is probably too early to tell. If you haven't had a period by 6 weeks after your mc was complete then I would take a pregnancy test. After my second miscarriage it took me 5 and a half weeks to have a period so I definitely wouldn't recommend testing before 6 weeks as it is quite emotionally upsetting after a miscarriage if you are dealing with another bfn.

Sorry about your loss and hope you manage to conceive again in the very near future.

Did you have a scan after your MC?

Marie I had a scan ''during' as it were and there wasnt anything to see. Also had HCG blood tests until they were showing zero so definitely nothing still there.

Well I tried to wait another week but actually only managed about an hour and half. [typical smiley]
There's defnitely a faint line.... resists temptation to get hopes up and shout from the hills!!

I had a mc at 8weeks, and AF arrived 5weeks 6days later! can take a while :( x x
