As I was becoming slowly bankrupted by the smiley face digital ones I thought I'd try some cheapie online ov sticks. (Even though I know with pcos ov sticks don't really help, but I just can't resist.)

Problem is I can't tell the difference between positive and negative as both of them have two lines! According to the instructions it's the darkness of the line you are meant to observe - but this seems so subjective. I have two lines and they both look equally dark to me depending on how I hold them to the light.

Has anyone else had this problem with these sticks? Why couldn't they just make them one line or two like normal preg sticks, so silly!

Some women find that they have a line there all the time.

If it's as dark as the control line then I'd say its a positive.

If it is a positive, what a pain that dp isn't here tonight! He's back tomorrow - if we DTD tomorrow will that be on the day of ov? I get so confused with the mechanics of ov

I find it helps to look down the test, from the end, if you're not sure which line is darker. Then turn it round and look from other end to confirm. I find it much easier then looking at the lines side by side when they're pretty similar.
