Implantation bleeding or not??? help please

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what the hell is going on with me firstly you should know that i usually have VERY painful and distressing periods whereby I am in pain a few days before my period (cramps, back pain and severely sore breasts) and for the majority of my period. It is usually heavy from the start. However yesterday when i woke up I noticed some bleeding that was light in color (almost pinkish) It was very light all day and i only needed to use one tampon and i had NO pain at all, no sore boobs no cramping but a little back pain, Today I have had very light bleeding (some brown and a little light red) and a little cramping only changing my Tampon twice although I could have went the day without changing. I have had a tenderness under arm on my right side on my breast, not sure if this is relevant. My Boyfriend and I use the withdrawal method and I know that this is not the safest of methods but it has worked for 6 years, I do not keep tract of periods and dates etc I just judge by the amount of pain I am in, I am nervous as to whether or not I am having some implantation bleeding or just a weird period. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone tell me whats going on with me

hi cherry, i can see you're anxious but i'm no expert to say the least. Did you know you were pregnant? i understood that implantation bleeding was weeks after conception so not likely if you haven't actually missed a period. if this is your first odd period and it's unusually light is it worth doin a prenancy test?

hi thanks for your reply but no i am hoping that I am not pregnant but if i am it is not the end of the world, but i have not missed a period this one is just so strange and out of character

i really wouldn't worry! doesn't sound text book to little old me, especially tenderness under arm. I would do a test tomorrow or saturday morning (first pee of the day!). if you're still worried about stuff call your dr. don't worry though, ask people for help, that's what the NHS is for!

Do test. I thought I hadn't conceived with dd because I bled for 5 days when my period was due, but lighter than usual. Two weeks later I realised I'd been feeling like crap for a week and thought I better test before seeing my GP and I was 6 weeks pregnant. I had tested when my period was a day overdue but it was negative and I started to bleed lightly that night.
