So-on what day dpo did you see a line and it turned into a BFP!-

I am trying to find out if you had symptoms and on what dpo did you see a line that turned into a Positive! i remember seeing on here somewhere a link of a lady posting her results for a good 2 weeks or so and you can see the line getting darker!

Thanks nappymaestro! I'm on dpo8 but haven't tested still unsure if I'm on a 28 days or 30 days cycle!
Having mild cramps do def feel like AF is on way!
Will have to just wait and see if she turns up!!

I have a thread somewhere on here from last week with photos of my tests at 10dpo where u can see a faint line.

Line much clearer on 11dpo. I can't link to it as on my phone! I got a positive cb digi on 11dpo with same pee as FRER

Yes unrequited did a frer the next day and nice line came up...did a digi too and it was lovely to see the word 'pregnant'

Well I'm not feeling hopeful right now and now my DH booked our Christmas family holiday so won't be able to focus on getting pregnant now or I will be home alone having baby!!!
All all my family are going also!!!!
Blahhhhhhhhhhh knowing my luck no putting it on hold will be the time it happens!!!!!!!!!

I'm new wanted to say hi and share my good news! I got my BFP on Thursday... 21DPO...that seems really late compared to everyone else? I had 28 day cycle, I didn't test before period was due as felt like period was coming, thought it just hadn't worked yet, tested the day after missed period, 15 DPO (but only with free test from family planning clinic) and it showed up negative, then when I still didn't come on I was too scared to test incase negative again! So Thursday I plucked up the courage to do it again, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, morning one line showed up straight away, evening took the whole 3 mins! So feel its confirmed now! Exciting!

With my last pg I tested 9 dpo with early predictor test which claimed to give you a result 5 days before af. I got a negative at first. Waited another 2 days and got my v faint BFP with fmu.

Neg on 9DPO (I know, I know). Day 10 DPO thought I saw a BFP on a ic test, but then it vanished... Drove me mad . Got another super super faint line on my ic today so nipped out and got a FRER and a proper, clear positive (with the same fmu!) at 11 DPO (today).

Last pregnancy got a lovely strong line at 11 DPO on an ic.

Pregnancy tests are very unreliable any earlier than about 11 dpo - even the so-called early ones are only about 50% accurate at this stage.

Best thing (easier said than done, I know) is to wait till at least 14dpo as reliability increases to about 90%. Plus you'll save money!

Whats dpo?

Number of days past ovulation. On a 'normal' cycle or average womans cycle you would expect your period 14 days after ovulation. Everyone is different tho. The early tests are based on a 28 day cycle with ovulation on day 14. They say you can test up to 6 days early so 5 days before your missed period which is effectively 15 (day after period due) - 5 = 10 so at 10dpo.

If you have a shorter luteal phase (bit of cycle after ov) then 6 days before your missed period would be far too early as embryo wouldnt have had time to implant. Hope that helps
