is the dose in a standard multi-vit (400ug) enough or do I need more if I'm TTCing?

Standard dose is enough, but you should be taking it for three months before getting pregnant, just a word of advice.

I took Pregnacare supplements with folic acid included when ttc. Once pregnant I felt so sick I only took my supplements one day in about three or four. I felt guilty about it at the time but DS is perfectly healthy.

Standard dose is fine unless you have a family history of neural tube defects such as spin a bifida - then you'll need a prescription dose.
Standard dose is fine for most people.

400micrograms is reccomended dose unless family history. Tesco have 9months supply for £2 atm, 3 for 2 on vitamins.. 120/pack.

Good luck :)
