Hi,
To cut a long story short I had a course of provera last month, had a very light bleed & started on the 50mg clomid on day 2 as told. All was well, but started bleeding this morning, 15 days after taking the clomid. I should be ovulating, but looks like a heavy period. Or am I miscarrying very very early?
Im supposed to have blood test at day 21! Do I do this and just start taking the clomid again tomorrow????

CONFUSED??????? Please help!

x

ribs arghh wish i knew what to say...if i were u i would call your clinic/consultant/nurse first thing and ask their advice they may take u in early for bloods or at least tell u what to do with regards to re-starting the clomid! Confused .... sorry i cant offer some more concrete advice, but some of the girls on here are far more informed than me so they may offer you better advice!! good luck and let us know how u get on!! :)

Yeah I second that, ring the clinic. The info leaflet says you should talk to your prescriber if you get heavy bleeding. Sorry I can't be much more help, but Clomid seems to cause a whole range of wierd bleeding.

Thanks, for that. You know when you think you should phone but dont know if you are being a nuisance or over-reacting!

I phoned and spk to gynae secretary - who phoned me back to advise gynaecologist said to start again and go back for blood test in another 21 days. So at least I know what to do.

Unfortunately clomid symptoms have kicked in now - dizzy as hell!!! (more than usual) And strange craving for redd wine and guiness. I think my iron levels must be low!! Who am I to refuse!!

I know what you mean, I never know whether or not I should bother them with something that ends up having a really obvious cause/ solution. but its probably better phoning than having things go wrong and them asking why you didn't phone!

Yep!

Are you on the clomid as well dontcare?

Hello everybody,

I am seeking for reassurance please.
I had a course of clomid treatment two months ago. Last month my period started normally but it was fairly light. Then I did not take any more clomid treatment because I didn't like the side effects.
This month my period started a few days early, spotted for about a week, then it became super heavy for a week, and now going into the third week it is somewhat medium flow. Is this normal after clomid?
When I was bleeding very heavy I went into emergency room because I thought something was wrong with me. The tests they carried out showed that I developed/had fibroid (which can be a side effect of comic treatment). The doctor said that it should go away on its own and gave me a medication for stopping the bleeding if it was getting in the way of the quality of my daily life. With this medication i can't try to get pregnant for at least a month or two because it affects fetus development. I don't know what to do. Please share or advise if you have been in my shoes. This is getting so stressful.
