Are periods post baby same as pre baby?

Hooray, after 15 months my period has come back so now we can start ttc again. Just wondered whether my cycle is likely to be similar in terms of number of days and luteal phase etc?

I am sure everyone is different - but here's mine;

It seemed as though pregnancy had kick-started my cycle and my periods became a lot more regular. I went from 35-40 day cycles to 28-29 day cycles. It was great!
Secondly, my periods are a lot lighter than before - typically lasting 3-4 days.

Get going with the ttc but just keep track for a few months to see how you go. I expect if its been 15 months, they should settle down now quite quickly, hormones wont be flooding around like before.

I think a lot of people's cycles get messed up. DS bf for 7 months so no period til after that. Then 3 normal cycles (normal prebaby clockwork 25 days, Luteal 14 days). Since then 9 months of bizarre cycles 17-48 days, Luteal phase I think 10 days. Very annoying ass ttc no2!
