Clearblue smiley faces when do will I I ovulate

Hello,

This is my first month of using clearblue ovulation sticks. CD 11 had a smiley face and CD12 a smiley face. CD 13 empty circle. Had lots of EWCM ON CD11 & 12. When will I ovulate?

We BD ON CD11 & 12 and today (CD14). Does this sound positive, just wasn't sure about ovulation day after getting smiley faces, does it mean ovulation has happened or is on the way??
Any advice is appreciated. :)

Most ovulation predictors detect Lutenising Hormone, which is released 24-48 hours before ovulation. In which case you probably ovulated on Day 12.

I'd say you probably ovulated on day 12 or 13 so you have it covered. No harm in carrying on tomorrow though!

I asked this exact question the other day! basically you need to be dtd every other day until you get the smiley face and then on the day of your smiley and the couple of days after to give you the best chance, I got my smiley face on day 13, dtd on day 10, 12, 14 & 15 (dh away on day 13 typical!!) sounds like your in with a good chance also!
If I'm wrong with above info someone will come and correct me! Have you been ttc long? Cycle 10 for me :(

There's loads of info about this on www.peeonastick.com (I think that's the correct web address). Clearblue measures oestrogen as well, so is better able to predict ovulation, particularly if you keep using it cycle after cycle, as it has a computer to do it.

There is also the 'sperm meets egg plan' website that tells you how to use the OPKs.

I agree you probably ovulated some time on day 12. Which means you have had sex at the perfect times if you did it on day 11 and then day 12. If you find that you consistently ovulate on day 12, a good regime for future months would be days 9, 11 and 12.

My advice is always to hit the first smiley face day whatever else you do or don't manage. But hopefully you will be pregnant in two weeks time and won't need any more advice! Good luck :)

Thank you everyone, for your information. Fingers crossed it has worked! This our third time of trying. So still early days. I'm terrible though when I want something I want it NOW! These two are going to be a long two weeks me thinks!

Has anyone got pregnant using clearblue?

Goodmorning all.. just want to find out from you good ladies. I had sex thu fri sat this morning i had a smily face on my clear blue OPK. Today I am on CD12. The app i have (my days) says i will ovulate Wed 18. I am confused now. My hubby is in the military and he has left for ex today. And we didnt have sex this morning. Do i have chance for the days i had sex.. thank you for yr help
