Fed up waiting for period

I don't really desire any sort of response to this - I just need to vent...out into the ether
TTC for a few months now. Came off Pill in November, cycles ofabout 29 days since then. This month have only done the deed once. Period is 4 days late. Done test on day 29 and negative.
No pregnancy symptoms. Have the odd cramp and think period is on its way and then nothing.
The waiting for my period is DOING MY HEAD IN
So frustrating, when I know the odds are stacked against me being preg. But every hour builds a little bit more of (false) hope. Resisting urge to get another preg test today.
Just want it to start so I can start trying again

Ahh didn't want to leave you hanging. I was almost exactly the same, off the pill in November, then two 26 days cycles. Then last cycle NOTHING. After frantic symptom spotting and about 10 BFNs I was just wanting my period to start so I could crack on! Booked a doctors appointment, and typically on that day my period came. That was cycle day 39. Doc sent me for bloods just in case that threw up anything (she was a bit too eager to do so infact, and made me panic a bit more, but maybe it's because I'm over 30 and DH is older!). Not got results of the bloods yet, but seeing as I had a normal length period then I guess it was just my body adjusting after 13 years on the pill. The downside is I don't know when to expect my period this month at all, so will just have to wait and see what happens. At least I suppose I won't be testing loads from day 26 any more!

Do another test.

When I was TTC my second DC, the second month I was absolutely convinced we hadn't had sex at the right time, so there was no way I could conceive. When my period was late, I was annoyed because I just wanted to get on to the next cycle to try again. I didn't test until 4 days later when my boobs suddenly got really sore... DD2 is now 8 months.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I've just finished a 5 day course of provera, after AF didn't arrive after my first month of Clomid. I want AF to frigging get a move on so I can start the next lot of Clomd!

Thinking of you pippi and wishing for yours to arrive quickly. Still no sign of mine and it's sooooo frustrating isn't it....
