Hello!

You may or not remember me, I was a really regualr MNer for years and years, I took a break around September time last year.
Anyway, I am back, dabbling my toes in a bit.

Long story short.

I fell pregnant, and miscarried 8 weeks in, absolutely gutted so DP and I have decided to stop the condoms and see how things go.
I'm not charting or taking temps or using sticks or anything, I have a brief knowledge of my own cycle. Although this one os slightly unusual.

I am a regular as clockwork 26 day-er. I see to recall from ttc DS2 that EWCM means you're ovulating (correct me if I am wrong) but I had that day 10ish of my cycle, then again day 14, I also had a 3 day period when I usually have a 6 day one.
I have left a cycle after the mc, but I assume this is still hormones.

Anyway I have been feeling totally pants and a hormonal wreck, spotty, sicky, headcahey and mood swinging all over the shop, again I assume left over hormones from the mc or really early af signs.

Anyway, (gosh I keep rambling) I am due on, on the 8th March (2 days before my birthday, bloody typical!) so I am playing the waiting game.
Anyone else waiting the 2ww and want to join me? :)

Hah! Tits - we posted at the same time. March is the month. I am not yet waiting. It all start again next week...

Sorry to hear about your mc I had the pleasure in November. But feeling crap will be a good thing shortly if our luck is in (which it is, right).

TitsalinaBumSquash · 27/02/2012 18:20

Oh of course it is :D

Sorry about your mc, I was just getting used to the idea and being excited about number 3 then BOOM, gone :( Dp was lovely, it would have been his first, although he loves my 2 DSs like mad.

Hey there. I haven't started the tww but will be from Wednesday I think.

My background..... I have an almost 13 yr old from a previous relationship and am 6 months married. We've been trying since we got married and I did get pregnant but mc in Jan at 5 weeks. I'm going to be 39 this year so I don't really have the time to hang about. This is my first cycle since mc so not sure if it's going to be 28 days as before but I seem to be having fertile signs so we are going for it. Hopefully if my cycle is the same as before I will ovulate on Wednesday and then the tww is on!!

Quodlibet · 27/02/2012 20:40

Hey all. Titsalina I am due the same day as you, or possibly a day either side.
I've never been pg before so it's all still rather daunting/terrifying/mind-boggling for me, but for different reasons to you, I imagine. I'm sorry to hear about your mc. I could do with some company with this 2WW malarky, which I am already thoroughly not enjoying, and we've only been going 3 months - will you accept rooky company?

TitsalinaBumSquash · 27/02/2012 20:44

All company much appreciated! :)

I never ttc-ed DS1, he was a happy accident, I remeber it with DS2 though! I forgot about this bit... sooo not fun! :

I'm sorry to hear about you miscarriages. I too am on the 2ww, hate it. Conceived ds easily and quickly so am not used to being patient! Like you all I am finding it hard. I've already done 2 pg test. Negative, obviously!! Far too soon. AF due 6th March. Fingers crossed for us all :)

TitsalinaBumSquash · 27/02/2012 20:55

I have ordered a whole bunch of the cheapy tests from ebay

iloveminieggs · 27/02/2012 21:49

Hello everyone! I have just started my 2ww too, AF due in 10 days. I'm ttc baby no 1 after 2 previous mc's. Fingers crossed this is our month x
I have used ov sticks this month just to confirm I actually am ovulating and back to 'normal' after mc. Good luck everyone! I'm a nervous wreck, purposely have no tests at home so can't poas when ever I feel like it!!

Pocket1 · 28/02/2012 07:56

Welcome newcomers!

Sorry we are all having to be here after mc, but I am glad we have support.

No one in RL life knows we're ttcing, even DP himself is one of these that says "I'll just stop using condoms and see what happens."

I am kind of looking forward to my birthday this year, I have never really done much to mark it except a couple of drinks in a local pub.
DP is taking me to see Jack Whitehall who I really like, hen we're staying in the Hilton up there for a lovely night! :)

He says he has plans for me .... erp, not sure what that could be, but I'll enjoy the ride.

I have nothing to do for the next 2 weeks, I was meant to be in hospital with DS1 but they cancelled when we arrived

Sounds like a lovely bday treat. I'm going mad in my 2 wks as DH is on a course mon-fri & I'm busy with work when all I want to do is relax!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 28/02/2012 21:13

No relaxing isn't good! It will make you analyse every twitch in your body like I'm doing

OP posts:
iloveminieggs · 28/02/2012 22:24

Yeah sounds about right! I'm now lying in bed wondering why I'm tired, why I have a headache....!!

dontcarehow · 29/02/2012 08:37

I'm on my first proper 2ww now I'm on clomid. only 1dpo (I think). I can just see the next 2 weeks stretching out in one long neurotic mess.

Quodlibet · 29/02/2012 09:26

'one long neurotic mess' is just about right, dontcarehow. I'm trying to write up a PhD chapter at the mo, really really hard to give it the 100% concentration which it demands.

dontcarehow · 29/02/2012 12:47

I'm doing a PhD too! Well, I say doing a PhD, more like ignoring it while I look up PG symptoms on the internet. Maybe its the stress of knowing I've got to finish in the next few months...

Quodlibet · 29/02/2012 13:01

Haha that is exactly what I did yesterday! I have to finish this year too, aiming for first draft of the full thing by September (though an then allowed a years grace to write up). How do you reconcile a poss pg with your PhD? Have you timed it so you will be finished? I have not been that clever Confused.

dontcarehow · 01/03/2012 08:35

was trying to time it for the end of the second year so I could have 6months- a year off then pick it up again. failed at that! now hoping that I'll be finished by September. either way, I'll no doubt be finished by the time any baby comes along and I'll be unemployed :( I'm hoping that a PG will come along soon though so that it'll give me the motivation to get it finished!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 01/03/2012 09:39

Ahh, study!
I am at college full time until June, the I was going to go on to do the next course but it can wait, I can do my home stuff in the interim.

Bored today, trying to keep bust for another week! URGH!

OP posts:
Quodlibet · 01/03/2012 11:31

dontcarehow, that was exactly my foiled plan! grrr. I'm self-employed usually so bizarrely my PhD was my only chance at paid maternity leave, even at a pitiful rate.

So who's got some symptoms to share? I got a bit of pink spotting yesterday (6dpo) but I do occasionally spot in my LP so not that unusual for me.

FF has put me on VIP trial so I can waste even more time analysing my chart.

Yep I'm wishing this week away too...

TitsalinaBumSquash · 01/03/2012 13:00

Symptoms? Pft! I have had them all! I am sure most of them are in my head though! :D
I have sore boobs on and off and my carpal tunnel has come back and I have had daily headaches and nausea, these are all likely to be me wishing too hard though, DP however is convinced I am pregnant again Hmm
Usually though, I don;t get anything until about 2 days before af then I start cramping and it gets steadily worse until the bleeding starts so I guess we will see in a week.
I have felt rotten for pretty much most this cycle though so who knows, could just be one of those weird cycles that does it's own thing.

Cookiesandcream06 · 01/03/2012 20:35

So sorry to hear about everyone's MCs, i have been very fortunate not to have one so far in my life but i have two close friends who have. I need to pass this 2ww without completely losing my sanity so I would be happy to join if you'l have me?! I think my AF should be due around the 9th March, and yep, you guessed it, already POAS, just on that small off chance. Waste of time. Since when did I become a crazy woman?! Hmm

dontcarehow · 02/03/2012 09:18

ha cookies I so very nearly POAS today but I'm only 4dpo!! the sane half of me won that one.

symptoms.... crazy half of me had a shower this morning and was sure the little spots of lighter coloured skin on the ends of my nipples have multiplied!! could that be a symptom?!!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 02/03/2012 09:20

All my symptoms have gone :(
So I am not feeling hopeful today, silly I know, not out of the race until af arrives next week but meh, I'm really not feeling it today.
Boobs were quite sore yesterday but nothing at all today.
DS2 was up all night throwing up so I am being a real grump today, I think coffee is in order :D
