thats pretty much it. don't get me wrong , We are trying to get preggers, but i'm scared of being disappointed and scared of getting a BFP and then something going wrong.

and now i'm thinking- i should POAS with first wee of the day anyway, so should i wait till tomorrow... [making excuses for why i should put it off i know!]

am i crazy?

If you're late it won't matter which wee you use as the hormone will be there.

Sometimes the not knowing is actually worse than the result iykwim.

If you ARE pregnant you will be scared of something going wrong/happening to your child every day for the next 70 or so years so that is something you'll have to learn to live with Smile

At three days late you may very well not need the first wee. Why not do a test NOW and if it's negative try again tomorrow morning. Then you can be sure.

And yes you are a little crazy - so probably pg Grin

BFP.

DH asked when my AF was due and when I said 3days late he made me take the test straight away.

He is so excited. And I've cried and just feel numb. We're going out for celebration dinner tonight. So hoping I will start to get excited.

I didn't realise how scared I would feel.

Thanks for ur encouragement ladies. X

Congratulations! Well done for being brave. Also well done to DH for getting you to test.

(What does the FML in your title stand for?)

Jackstini · 25/02/2012 16:34

Very often even when a baby is as planned as planned can be there is a feeling of ' what have we done' - remember there is a MASSIVE hormonal thing going on in your body right now. That little tingle will grow and grow with the baby. It's normal to be a bit scared as well as excited.
