Am on CD28 today. According to OPKs I should have ovulated on CD 20 (I can't chart temp as I work shifts and am up all times of the day and night). AF shoud be due today or tomorrow.

I tested this morning and had the very very faintest of lines Shock. And I mean faint! A real turn-it-to-the-light-and-squint faint line. But DH and I are both sure there's something there (and within the time).

Do you think I have any chance? I ovulated late so I'm only 8DPO, but AF is due. What are the odds of this sticking? Am desparately looking for reassurance that there's hope. I read that a short luteal phase can mean it's unlikely to stick.

Any thoughts appreaciated Confused

A line is a line, congratulations! I had a very very faint line then a private scan at 7 weeks, so worth it. We found out we were having twins :)

It's very early...I'd wait and retest with a sensitive test. The superdrug tests have purple dye so are easy to see, FRER are also good. Tentative congratulations!

Be careful. I had a faint pink line with a First response testing kit on Tuesday, tested again on Thursday and an even pink fainter line. Tested again with clear blue this morning and got a clear 'not pregnant'. : (
I know another poster in an old thread said she had a faint pink line with First response which came to nothing. Many women who get faint lines go on to have pregnancies but not all. On Tuesday and Wednesday I had excitedly planned my whole new life so feel pretty gutted now. So try to hold off getting too carried away until you test again. Good luck with it!

Thanks all. Will retest tomorrow and keep fingers crossed.

So sorry to hear that Random - I'd be gutted too. Am trying so hard not to get excited, but it's so hard!
