Hello ladies, please can I join your friendly 2ww thread, I've been a bit of a lurker for the last week!?

Congrats on all the BFP's - if gives us all hope

I am 8dpo and completely going insane, feel sick (may be a tummy bug tho), feel empty even after eating, dry mouth, cramping on and off since 3/4dpo stopped 6/7 dpo and back again tonight. I am a complete POAS addict and got yet another BFN tonight although convinced myself not a problem as a bit early and wee was a bit weak (tmi sorry) and it was an internet cheapie, and tired but that might just be because I am tired!!!

Please save me before I go insane

Please can someone add me to the stats as I'm a bit unsure as new to MN!

I am TTC#2, cycle6 (Early MC at xmas), 8dpo (first month of using a CBFM) of a 25-29 day cycle! AF due 28/2 - 01/3 - going to test............prob every day till AF arrives

Yes CBFM - needed to feel a bit more in control, had concerns that I wasn't ovulating - was being tested for PCOS but nothing detected then had early MC at xmas so just decided to get on with it after that but with the reassurance from the CBFM - OPK's never showed up for me Not charting as can't stop myself from talking first thing before being able to put a thermometer in my mouth!!

How you finding the CBFM?? I got all lows until cd13 when it went straight to Peak (no highs)!?!

OPKs didn't work for me either but so far so good with CBFM - I didn't get a high until about 17 then peaks 19& 20. Ov was confirmed at day 19 by chart which is great but gives me a vv short LP but at least we know we SWI'd at right time as about 4-5 days out before

Thank you everyone for the congratulations. Really mean a lot. pip...my DS will be 2.4 years when baby arrives. It's all feeling very surreal still but I have the same stretchy aches I had with DS & the lack of appetite. Feeling emotional & shocked still- a happy shock though.

Wifey if I get my BFP this month both our dcs will be the same age!

impatient - I haven't but have heard about a lot of ladies trying b50 vits to help with that prob? May be worth a try....can't see your stats on the thread..what cycle you on (if you dont mind me asking?)

I just hope it happens soon as I'm not getting any younger and ds1 is now 5 which was more of a gap than we ever wanted

I have been taking b vits this month and so far so good as I would usually start pre-AF spotting around CD25 but it's now CD28 and no spotting!

I'm hoping to test a week sun so 8 days not including today. It's 4 days early but my logic is if I'm preg then some sort of line even a faint one will show up.
They're only eBay cheapos so it doesn't feel like a waste. I prob wouldn't test early if I wa spending £5 per test!

Impatient and Windmill it's good to know I'm not the only one going increasingly crazy at the moment - maybe we should all agree a day to 'officially' poas?! At the moment, I'm thinking next Saturday , as I have work on Thursday, at home on my own Friday, and DH around Saturday - I will might cave on Friday though if no AF!

DH made me laugh last night...I was asking him to feel my bbs because I swear they are a bit bigger (like you, Windmill, I've been jiggling away too and no tenderness!) and after feeling them and saying they were still a good handful (which says nothing!) he turns around and says "so do you really think you might be pg?" Well...we had unprotected sex the day before and the day I ovulated, of course I might be pg!!! [rolls eyes]! I love him dearly, but he does say some stupid things at times!

Wifey 2.4yrs sounds a good gap - I'll have 21mths if successful this month - a little less than intended, but I'm feeling really excited by the prospect now!!!

Okay, I had breakfast with DS about 7am and now, 2hrs later, feeling hungry and nauseous again! That's not normal is it?! I'm sure I wasn't thinking about it when I realised I was hungry either!

Pipsicles for the last 2 months my DH has been doing a full evaluation of any BB symptoms including visual and physical examinations! At least it makes him feel included

There is no way I will not test before next Saturday I may have done so already I think I have more tests than a pharmacy at the moment as I have 4 different types/brands - I probably have enough for us all!

I know we're supposed to be good, patient girls and wait to test until AF is late but, in theory, how early could we test and still get some kind of a BFP?

According to Fertility Friend, 15.9% of tests will show positive at 9dpo, which I am now. I'm going to try and wait a bit longer though

It makes sense I suppose, as soon as the egg implants into the womb it'll start making hormones and that happens around 6dpo I think?

Obv the amount of hormones is v small at that time but really sensitive tests would detect it.

AF arrived this morning

Oh well hope it's a short one and can get back to the SWIing
