Please share your stories of having achieved successful pregnancy after using smiley OPKs. Also...WHEN did you DTD after +OPK (smile), in order to get a bun in the oven? Been using the smiley ones for almost a year now with no pregnancy- wondering if using them wrong?! Thanks.

I've used the cheapies not the smileys. I have conceived twice using them.
Always have sex on the first day you get a positive result. Ideally you should also have had sex some time in the previous three days. You can also have another go the day after the first smiley.

Basically, don't rely on them to conceive. have sex three times a week anyway, and use the opks to make sure you also hit the best day. But by the time you get a positive, you have already missed some of your more fertile days so regular sex is your best bet.

If you have been getting smileys every month with a fairly regular cycle and you have been having plenty of sex, i'd say it was time to see a GP for a referral.

Thanks KatandKit. Yes, regular cycle. Regular smiley OPKs every month. We do tend to DTD on the day of smiley and the day after. Not much before. Maybe that's where the problem lies. Have had diagnosis of unexplained infertility. Now going down the private route with further investigations. Thanks for your reply. X

If your cycle is regular you should be able to predict in advance when approximately the four days before the smiley are likely to be. Hopefully by targeting that window you will have more success. Good luck with the further investigations, hope you get a win very soon.

That makes sooo much sense. Thankyou for the kind support and advice. Amen x
