Welcome aboard ladies.
Please be seated, you may undo your seatbelts as soon as you see the SWI sign light up.

I'll be coming round with cake, biscuits and wine.

Come on girls, we can do it this month.

Heads held high and legs akimbo, off we go.

Sorry about AF combat and about what your DH thinks :( I second to explain what chunky said, very good reasoning :)

Sorry Pipbin I don't chart so I'm useless to you I'm afraid.

Chunky Big Congrats (again), is it sinking in now? Soooo exciting :)

Well, my AF is due tomorrow, though was 3 day late (very unusual) last month, so could be anytime until Wedneday I suppose......

Just POAS, well I actually P'd in a cup and when I dipped my 'early ebay cheapy' I was actually swirling it around the P to try and catch the HCG Blush ...it didn't work though, still got a BFN! I'm not too disappointed as I've said previously, I'm just not feeling it this month.

Good luck to others for some BFP's today xx

Crazytictac · 17/03/2012 07:28

pipbin sorry much not use from me either as I don't chart so I'd be guessing

Great news chunky nice to have the positive reinforcement I bet!

Sorry pickled. No luck for me either today though :(. I had a dream about bf a baby with teeth last night so thought it was a sign, clearly not. Think I'll be jumping off on to the Santa sleigh instead.

Hope it's a better day for any other testers!

PickledHegg · 17/03/2012 07:39

Sorry crazy but this month isn't over just yet :) x

Chunkychicken · 17/03/2012 08:53

Thanks guys - I don't think I'll relax for a while yet, but it is a relief!!

Shame no more BFPs yet :( but until AF has arrived, there's still a chance, so fingers crossed.

Pipbin · 17/03/2012 10:45

So today I had blood in EWCM. I'm either 2 or 5 dpo.
WTF is going on?

OP posts:
PickledHegg · 17/03/2012 11:05

Omg Pipbin, that's odd, I've never heard of that before?! Have you googled it? Must be a worry for you? Are you ok?x

MrsTwinks · 17/03/2012 12:03

Pipbin it's possibly an ovulation bleed I wouldn't worry

AF is officially MIA Smile

CandyPop · 17/03/2012 12:51

ahhhhhh fingers cross for pipbin and mrstwinks!!!!!

mrstwinks was it due today??? are you going to test??

MrsTwinks · 17/03/2012 13:20

I tested yesterday and bfn, so I might leave it until tomorrow to test again

Pipbin · 17/03/2012 14:59

Thanks Pickled I'm fine.
I expect it's just a delayed ovulation bleed.

PickledHegg · 17/03/2012 18:46

Desperately trying not to get my hopes up, but after testing this morning to get a BFN, my AF is due tomorrow and I just went to the loo and thought "I'll just do another test really quickily as I don't want to test in the morning on mothers day"......

and guess what? I got a very faint line eeeeeeeek!

I'm not going to call it a BFP just yet as had a faint line last month which happened on AF due day, before AF arrived 3 days late.

I'm not on any kind of hormones so no hcg otherwise.

I'm not going to tell DP just yet as he really does get his hopes up, bless!

How do I not get my hopes up?!!! Arghh!

Crazytictac · 17/03/2012 19:09

Ooohh pickled....:o that's brilliant! Excited for you!!

Sounds like you might have had a chemical pregnancy last month but if you're not due on until next week and have a faint line already, well I think this is looking positive in both senses of the word.

PickledHegg · 17/03/2012 19:21

Ooooh thanks crazy!!!

I wouldn't describe it as a chemical prenancy last month as not sure if I was imagining the faint line last month as it was very very very faint, then when I tested 12 and 24hrs later, there was def no line. But, it did get my hopes up last month even if I was imagining it.

But, this time there is most definately a line, albeit still faint, although can see it much more than last month :) I've even took pics of it Blush!

Omg I can't believe it! I can't even tell DP as he's on a rare night out and is trashed drunk (Wales won the rugby - Well done Wales btw)! And if I tell him now, the whole of Wales will know within the hour! Lol! Plus don't want to admit it until I fingers crossed get a proper BFP!

Rudawakening · 17/03/2012 19:31

Congratulations pickled what a wonderful outcome on mothers day weekend.

I tested this morning got a BFN but AF not due til Monday so you have given me hope that I might get a BFP yet.

Crazytictac · 17/03/2012 19:42

pickled will keep my fingers crossed firmly for you! And we live in the same part of the world...Go Wales!

Fingers crossed for you too rudawakening

Pipbin · 17/03/2012 19:46

Congratulations Pickled. I'll pencil you in for seat number 4.

OP posts:
Chunkychicken · 17/03/2012 20:07

Excellent news Pickled fingers crossed you'll get a 'fatter' +ve tomorrow/when you next test.

Good luck Rudawakening.

CandyPop · 17/03/2012 21:18

Ah congrats pickled!!!
I heard that a faint line is a line! And that was the case for me :)
I suggest maybe re testing with a more sensitive stick - something like first response. It also comes up with a pink line rather than blue so it's more clear!!

PickledHegg · 17/03/2012 21:30

Thank you everyone! I'm going to re-test in the morning, I have a first response but have been saving it until I'm certain its going to be a BFP iykwim?!

Have doubled checked last test a hundred times and 3hrs later, the positive line is still there :) immpossible not to get my hopes up but still not entirely convinced its a definate BFP. I shall be back in the morning to let you all know!

crazy and Ruda fingers crossed girls :)

bettergetamoveon · 17/03/2012 22:05

Excellent news Pickled, fingers crossed rudeawakening and mrstwinks. pipbin, sorry your body is confusing you. Sorry to hear of the AF visits. BFN mean nothing until AF arrives, so there's till hopes for those of you with no AF. Things are looking good for you this monthChunky, so happy for you Smile

I am trying so very, very hard not to get excited at all about all of this. I desperately don't want to get my hopes up and then come crashing down to earth Sad

Here's the story - January and February were both 26 day cycles. Spotting from CD21 - CD25, AF official arrival CD26. Oh, also Ovulation on CD 18ish, so 8 day LP Sad

March Ovulation CD 18, CD27 is today had teeny tiny brown steaks (barely noticable) on going to the toilet twice. On Every other time (about a zillion trips) nothing at all. AF will PROBABLY arrive tomorrow, giving me a 28 day cycle which is what I used to have a few months ago (I think). I am NOT going to get my hopes up until at least Monday, when I would be officially late on a normal cycle.

Good luck everyone. Of course now that I've written this essay AF will pay a visit won't she Angry

Pipbin · 18/03/2012 09:06

Am I alone in finding mothers day very difficult?

OP posts:
bettergetamoveon · 18/03/2012 10:20

Oh hello AF, how nice of you to visit me and on mothers day as well, lovely Angry Glad you let me have a 28 day cycle and longer LP, but a little notice would have been good ok??!!!

Pipbin, mothers day is another dy of commericalised rubbish. If you love your mum nyou should show it every day, not just on a day you're told to. Not nice for those who have lost mothers or those who want to be mothers either.

Feel a bit deflated today. Despite trying not to get my hopes up I did anyway. I know I should look on the bright side as i had no spotting this month (unless yesterdays miniscule amount is included) and my LP was 10 days, but it's so depressing isn't it?

Ladies still to test, the stats are rising for you lot, good luck! Hope not to see you on the next flight!

Chunkychicken · 18/03/2012 14:30

Evidence that mother nature has a sense of irony huh better? Sorry AF has arrived, but fingers crossed its the start of something good cycle wise...

And Pipbin sorry to hear you're finding it hard, it won't be long before you have an easier time x

Pipbin · 18/03/2012 15:37

Shameless symptom spotting here.
I was massively tired yesterday. I slept until 9am, which is late for me, then fell asleep at 3 until 5 in the afternoon then again at 10:30 until 12.30 and then went to bed and straight to sleep until 9am today!

OP posts:
MrsTwinks · 18/03/2012 17:54

Still MIA, had the tiniest bit of spotting -basically just red when wiping- yesterday lunch but nothing since (despite a 2mile walk today) so IMO that wasn't period. Still a bfn though... Hmmm...
