Dpo 12, massive temp drop to below cover line and BFP.... Any experts?

I'm confused! ( am also name changed today)

I'm on DPO 12 today. Woke up to massive temp drop, below cover line. Was a bit fed up so decided to test to clear my mind ready for the next cycle.

I was very surprised to get 2 BFPs!! fR and clearblue.

I don't know what what to think. Everything I read says a dip that big isn't good news. Plus, I've had a nagging discomfort in left side since DPO 5. It's not pain but I can feel something different.

I am not sure how to feel about the BFP! Part of me is ecstatic the other part is worried about MC and or ectopic

My chart is here

Well as I understand it you can't get a false positive. So, congratulations.

However, when was or is AF due. I don't want to be a misery but could it be a chemical pregnancy?

Not too sure about the temping but don't think I'd get too stressed about a dip yet. If you have enough hormones to have a BFP at this early stage then that's got to be a very positive sign.
I had niggly pains on my right side from very early post BFP all the way through my pregnancy with my DS. They didn't entirely go until after he was born. No other probs with the pregnancy though so I wouldn't worry about the pain.
I think congratulations are in order, yes it is early days but you may as well think positive.

Morning all. Grin
Thanks for your replies. This morning the temp is back well above the cover line and above my previous PO temps.

I think it might be time to ditch the thermometer. If its a early MC or chemical (same thing?) I will soon know.

Thank you.
