Should I just keep waiting for AF to come or what?

Any ideas/experiences would be welcome. My cycle is usually 26 days and my AF is now 3 days late. I tested yesterday and it was a bfn. I am just starting to worry myself sick now that I may have an ectopic pregnancy, but how long would it take before I had any symptoms? We had DS 18 months ago after 2 failed cycles of IVF and being told we would never conceive naturally. We did. I have only one tube and in the words of the doctor, it's "mangled". None of them could see how I had managed to get pregnant when I was scanned at 6 weeks. Anyway, should I test again? Should I wait another week or two to see if AF is just playing tricks on me? Should I wait to see if I develop symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy? I am terrified that I could lose my other tube. I know I'm probably overthinking things but what to do?!

Ok I have question too, AF is now 2 days late, I have done a POAS and it was negative. Should I wait a few days and do another one?

I did think I was getting signs that AF was imminent, but they have all disappeared. Confused

Do either of you know when you ovulated?
The length of time between getting your period and ovulating can vary but the time between ovulating and your period rarely does by more than a day or so.
So maybe you ovulated late?

Who knows? I was trying to be all relaxed about ttc and not looking for symptoms etc, just having sex every 2 days all month so I don't know, but when I first started ttc years ago before DS1 I POAS and they showed that I never ovulated. I know also that ovaries ovulate alternately and so I have less chance and what with my one and only duff tube I haven't got much of a chance at all, but still no AF or symptoms of any sort. I have been driving myself up the wall googling ectopic pregnancy now! I think I will test again after AF is a week late and see, and if bfn I suppose a trip to the doctor will be in order. Pippi wait until a week has passed and test again, like me :)

I'm about 17 (I think) DPO today. Am now 3 days late for period, and AF symptoms have disappeared, and have felt sick last 2 mornings Confused

That could be good news pippi? Well, now a week late and nothing. It's driving me crazy. DH says, "well, you've done a test and you're not pregnant so you just have to wait", and I know he's right, but I hate waiting! :)

Hello, hope you don't mind if I jump in here too. I'm in a similar position. AF now 3 days late but negative preg tests. I have a DD now 2.5 and miscarried at 11weeks in October. When I miscarried they found a large ovarian cyst and I'm driving myself insane thinking it's causing all kinds of problems down there. Honestly, isn't there enough to stress us all out without the uncertainty of no AF but BFNs?!? Fingers crossed for us all! X

Scarlett sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I've had problems with cysts in the past too, and had to get them aspirated when going through IVF as they were interfering. We can all be crazy overthinkers together Grin

Ah well no mystery any more. AF has just arrived, 9 days late. Boo hoo :( I always had a secret hope that the test was wrong!

Me too. AF is here 5 days late. Right, this month must try to relax and not stress! Lots of luck everyone. Xxx

Yes, and we must have lots of sex all the time. Judging by how late my period was it would suggest that I had loads of it at the wrong time. Bah, I could have been reading my book instead Grin
