Hope Someone can answer this. My cycle is all over the place. I had positive opk for 5 days then neg but never felt ovulation. Then felt ovulation on cd25. Another positive opk. Was due AF Monday. If I am late does that mean egg has fertilised or would I be late due to late ovulation? Confused

Hello

Your luteal phase (which is the period of time between ovulation and the start of your next period) will usually stay the same in each cycle and is usually around 14 days (although can vary quite a lot for each woman). If you ovulate late, then AF should start later too (assuming you're not pregnant!). For example, I normally ovulate on day 19, my luteal phase is usually 13 days so my normal cycle length is 32 days. Last cycle I ovulated on day 16, my luteal phase was still 13 days so my cycle length was only 29 days.

Hope that helps!
