if I am not pregnant by the end of March the I am going to stop ttc till June/July 2013 because I dont want a 2013 baby, I dont know why I feel like this not normally superstitious about things but I really dont want a 2013 baby! Am I the only one??

Yes that does sound crazy! What do you think will happen to all the other children born in 2013?

Surely the baby will still have been conceived in 2013 .. Does the superstition not apply to that

I agree. How upset would you be to leave it all that time only to find that actually there is some kind of problem that will mean that you or your partner will need treatment that will take time.

That is just stupid, I'm sorry but it is. What if you ended up having your 2014 baby on Friday 13th?

I'm sure there are other people who feel the same as you, unfortunately they may now not want to post!

There will be lots of people who don't like the number 13, and feel slightly superstitious about it. China has it every few years with their zodiac animals. There's at least one 'unlucky' animal, and one very favoured one. So, no, you're not crazy just maybe a little unusual :)

Personally, I'd love a baby any time, but I'm struggling to get one. I always thought I'd get pg as soon as I started trying, and I did initially wonder about due dates and when would be good timing. I'm glad I decided I didn't care, because it's been well over 18 months now, and still nothing. I'm a reasonably fit and healthy 30 year old, as is my DH. It 'should' be easy for us, but it's not. Maybe it will be for you, it's all a bit of a lottery really. Good luck!

Stasi I to have fertility issues which is making me more crazy I think cant bear another bad thing to happen :(

bebemad I will confess to having had similar thoughts but that was before we started trying & realised I don't have much choice about when I will get pg! At first I was bothered about the school year, star sign etc but now couldn't care less!
