Hi ladies, my fertile week started 4th feb.. According to my fertility app fertile week started 4th feb..OV day 9th & ends 10th feb. So we dtd- 3rd, 4th & 9th.
I was definetely OV 9th & 10th & by 11th all OV symptoms had gone. I'm just worried that we haven't done enough this month. :( I'm not sure how long the 'swimmers' last & if the 3rd & 4th would of been too early.
Can someone please explain?
I know people say to dt everyday but we have had a poorly DS so we have done the best we can!

I thought they could last up to 4 days.

I was just reading Fertility Friend on this. They say:

'The longest that sperm can last is 5 days. All pregnancies can be attributed to sex within the 5 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation.

However, sperm do not typically survive for 5 days. A life span of 2-3 days is much more typical.'

So it seems your sex on 9th was bang on 'target' and the sex on the 5th might be OK but the sex on the 3rd was too early.

So, you're definately in with a chance, I'd say. Good luck!

Hi, the whole when is best to conceive thing is quite confusing and can difer from person to person, I saw this forum post from a natural fertility expert on another website I sometimes use, Pride Angel, thought it may help, if you have any specific questions she says to post a question to her.forum.prideangel.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=537
Hope this helps! good luck xx
