Reallly need some advice please from you mummies :D

I had a miscarriage on the 25th of last month, was completely devastated and still am, when i had a scan too check all was clear they found a 5cm simple cyst. I have been in denial about the whole thing and its so silly but i have taken pregnancy tests everyday since, (only cheapys in bulk from ebay) anyways, as expected all been negative, exept today. i have the clearest boldest posative line. im now just wondering though could this be to do with some sort of hormone from the cyst? as my miscarriage was about 2weeks 3days ago. i do obvulate very soon after a period normaly, with in about a week. but surely i couldnt be pregnant so soon? helppp pleasee?? :)))

Hi I'm phoenix. Firstly I'm sorry for your loss. I'm no expert but I didn't want you to go unanswered. I understand you can still get positive pregnancy tests for some time after an Mc. My advice would be to post in the miscarriage section of MN where you'll get a more definite response and advice on what to do next. I hope you get a definite bfp and a sticky bean very soon.

Hi zonat - it seems v poss you could be pg if you have had all negative tests until now. I don't know much about this but I don't believe cysts can change/create hormones.

Thankyou for reply :) & yes does seem odd doesn't it. i Dont believe im pregnant :/ i'm too scared ive convinced myself something is wrong with me. Think i need too see the GP and see what they say :) xx

Let us know what happens. It's completely possible you're pg.

I'm really keeping my fx for you. Get to your GP for advice and an early scan maybe (though not this early as it won't show anything).

However I do know that cysts (especially large ones) can cause the same hormones as pregnancy ones. Had a large cyst myself however my positive line did turn out to be a now 17 month old DS and I hope that is the case for you too. With him had a scan at 5 weeks 6 days to confirm.

Thankyou for the comments :) going too GP tomorrow too see whats happening. Aparently the cyst i have shouldnt cause this so either i am pg, or maybe some sort of hormone imbalance going on. i will keep u posted :) x x
