negative test but still no period?

Hiya,
My period is now 4 days late, its normal for me to be a day, maybe even 2 days either side, but not this long with no signs of it coming. So anyway, have done 2 tests now, first Wednesday, then another today (both just cheap ones, £1.50 for 2 as I know its easy to become a pre on a stick addict). Any advice, do I leave it until after the wkd or try another brand?

If it was me I would go and get a clearblue and test first thing tomorrow. Hope you get an answer soon

Try a frer, they're very sensitive.

Ugh, feel for you, I tested at 10 days PO, which I now know is too early, so it'll be 14 DPO on Monday, so I can test, and am going to use Frer, or Clear Blue digi, as I've found them to be reliable in the past.

Now on day 33! So that's why I'm confused, with ds and dd I got a bfp at 30 and 31 days, with a chemist own brand, this time used clear and simple tests.

I'm 14 DPO today, but just can't bring myself to POAS, can't bear to get another BFN.

Plus I've got a back ache, which I usually get when AF is about to arrive, but have no PMS or other AF symptoms, so have got fingers crossed, but don't want to be disappointed again.

Plus, DH always trys really well to hide his disappointment, and be supportive for me, but I know inside he will be disappointed too, which makes me feel even worse.

He always says "I love you, and if it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, it doesn't and it won't change how I feel about you", but as the fertility problem is on my side, I still feel like I'm letting him down, iykwim?

Yes I understand, but you cant blame yourself over something you have little control over, and I'm sure its not changed how he feels. He has the right attitude, enjoy being a couple, if and when it happens your so busy with work and kids its hard to find time together where your not tired lol.

Just to confuse my poor little head even more, I've been spotting on and off since sat night, but still no af. Didn't do another test as I though this was it arriving, but clearly not! Now coming up to a week late.

littlepiggie, it's a nightmare isn't it!

Some women do have spotting early in pregnancy, or implantation bleeding.

How late is your period now?

Keep waiting I'm afraid. I could have written your post yesterday, today I have the mother of all periods. At a guess I had a failed implantation but it doesn't help to speculate. AF arrived on day 36!

Hi i got a bfn on a tesco own brand test when i was 4 days late. then tested again 3 days later and the line was so faint i couldnt decide if it was partly wishful thinking so i got a clear blue digital and tested later the same day and it was a definite bfp !

I really want to POAS, but just don't want to be devastated again by a BFN, so if AF hasn't arrived by Friday I shall test then.

I've got everything crossed!

It's so annoying though, that some of the early pregnancy symptoms are nearly the same as pre AF symptoms.

I have no pre AF symptoms yet except a backache which I alwys get, but have none of the other signs I usually get, like irritability, skin break out etc.

And defo felt sicky this morning, so we'll see it it happens again tomorrow. First time I've wanted to be sick.

Still confused as to what's going in. Starting late sat night I had a little bit of spotting, again in and off Sunday it wad slightly more on Monday but still not worth wearing a pad for ( TMI). Monday night I had the worst stomach cramps, although painkillers and a hot bath I felt better. I've had no further pain. On Tuesday I though af had arrived, but was really light, kind of like how it is on the last couple of days. This happened over tues and wed then stopped, now nothing. Have I just had the mist messed up AF ever, usually I'm on for 4 days and really heavy to start.

Hiya I'm with you on this one, I'm 3 days late and usually get loads of pre-AF symptoms but haven't had a single sign and dont feel like Its due iykwm, I've had 2 BFN's on first response so who knows?

In my case its prob because I'm waiting for CD1 so I can book hycosy scans.

I've had indigestion since Tuesday and felt sick all day yesterday, still feel queasy, OH has told me to stop testing now until I'm a week over, men are so black & white bless them!
