So bloody confused!! Help please

I'm ttc no 3 and this is my 2nd cycle off pill. I had positive opks Monday to Friday last week which was odd in itself, on sat the opk was negative but I never felt myself ovulate and I normally do

Did a first response test yesterday which was negative, but today I was really tender when sitting down/ getting up and generally sore. I did assume was af coming but as time went on realized that's how I feel when ovulating.

Just did opk and it's positive it's cd 25. What the bloody hell is going on?

OPKs can go positive when you are pregnant .....just saying :)

Am going to ask dumb question and ask if you are sure that it was positive ie darker than the control line. However I presume if you've been using them for 2 months you'd have read the instructions!

2 cycles off the pill is not that long, you could just be ovulating late. It's normal for it to take a while to settle down. The positive opks could mean your body was gearing up to ovulate but the egg didn't get out of the starting gate at that time so now it is having another try.

Leave it 2 or three days, have sex tonight just in case, and do another pregnancy test on Monday morning. If that comes back negative then wait two weeks and see if a period comes.

Thanks for replying. I do feel like am ovulating now. All very strange. All opk were very def positive until Saturday when test line was lighter. Today's was very dark. Dtd Wednesday and will do tonight even though prob too late. Random

It happened to me a few months ago - my body geared up to ovulate and I got +OPK but I didn't ovulate (I temp too, so I knew it hadn't happened). A week later, another +OPK and actual ovulation.

I was particularly knackered last week, could that have delayed ovulation I wonder?

Could have - mine was delayed because I really overdid it on an exercise video
