So, hubby just had a call from the GP asking him to make an appointment to get his results.
Is this the case regardless? If it's normal do they tell you over the 'phone?

Sometimes you can phone and get the results from the receptionist, we did this and didn't get an appointment. It's possible though if we hadn't called them they would have called us, or sent an appointment. Try not to worry, it may just be how your surgery does it. If it's a long wait till the appointment, and you want to know now, give them a call.

The appointments is on Wednesday and we can both go. Not so long to wait.

DP also had to make an appt to in and discuss, they wouldn't do it over the phone. His, overall, were fine but low morphology counteracted by high count (or something)

Thank you Pie I guess the thing is it's not just like a lot of other tests where it's a positive or negative. It has to be explained, therefore there has to be an appointment.

I think I just got panicked by the appointment.
