EWCM question (tmi alert)

Hi ladies,

Ok, so I've been charting my cycle ever since I came off the pill 4yrs ago so know a fair bit about this malarky. Most of the time I've been charting though its been for pregnancy avoidance so don't pay too much attention to the consistency of CM, if it was there we just didn't do it iykwim.

Anyway, DP and I decided to ttc#2 about 4mths ago so been trying to time swi right. This month (because of issues with lp spotting) I've started taking agnus castus and B50 complex in the hope that it might sort out any imbalances. I'm on CD13 this morning and have been wondering where my EWCM is (normally ov CD14 or 15) as have only had creamy the last couple of days. Anyway, went to the loo a couple of hours ago and found some very stretchy but not really watery or slippery CM. Its now completely gone (nothing on my cervix either). Soooo, I'm wondering, was that actually EWCM due to the stretchiness and if so why is it a lot drier/less slippery than usual? I'm hoping I'll see some more before the day is out and I'm now drinking loads in case the dryness was just simple dehydration.

Any thoughts? Dehydration? Or something maybe to do with the Agnus Castus or B50? I also take EPO up until ov so CM should really be nice and juicy (yuk).

Sorry for long post Blush

Hi, didn't want your post to go unanswered, I'm no expert though. If it was stretchy it probably was ewcm. You need to make sure you SWI before ovulating.

Maybe try posting in an appropriate group thread such as ttc#2 you might get more help as many posters just post there.

Good luck!

Thank you for your answer Smile

Yep we've been having swi since Tuesday so definately getting it in before ovulation. Was just confused by the consistency, its usually more slippery. Will post on one of the threads suggested.

Thanks again

I would try Preseed or conceive plus lube if you dont have enough ewcm

Good luck!
