Conceiving after anorexia - am I the only one?

Hello ladies

Has anyone else recently recovered from anorexia and now finds they're trying to conceive? My periods only recently returned (4 months ago) and my cycle seems to be all over the place - it's impossible to know when or if I'm ovulating, so really hard to know when we should be SWI... At the moment I'm just going for it whenever (as much as I can muster the energy for anyway) but it's knackering - and I feel like such a failure every time my period arrives... Hmm. Any practical advice or similar experiences would be hugely welcomed - I feel like I'm going a bit crazy! xxx

I can't advise re conceiving but I am a recovered Anorexic and my periods were never really "right". I took about 6 months to conceieve DD1....I reccomend that you maybe look up supplements...make sure you have all the correct vitamins and minerals...especially iron and Vitamin C...I was very low on both.

My periods are still a bit random but I have two children and never had a hard time gettng pregnant. I reached a good weight at age 24 and though I had a couple of slips...I was healthy by 30 and that's when I began to try to get pregnant.
