Dukan diet and TTC

Is it safe for me to do the Dukan diet whilst TTC? Need to get into a dress in 6 weeks.

I wouldn't have (and I've done) you should really be having a healthy and balanced diet

Speak to your Doc but I recon they'd say no.

Personally I wouldn't do any diet that restricts food groups while ttc. If you want to lose weight, restrict calories by cutting portions and moving more but eating a good variety so you are getting plenty of nutrients.

In the Netherlands high-protein (low-carb) diets are recommended for those struggling to conceive who are battling insulin-resistance/Syndrome X/PCOS type illnesses.

I wouldn't hesitate to try personally.

Low GI is recommended in those circs here too, Pone. But doesn't Dukan limit veg in the early stages? I think it goes beyong reducing carbs.

I have no idea tbh, but I do know they like aspartamane-laced drinks.

Me neither! I have never paid any attention. the little I know about it comes from a colleague who is doing it and she mentioned it was very restrictive in the early stages.

Tha is so true. I really wish I was one of those people who could drunkly fall on a c0ck and get upduffed.

It's ok, have decided to stick with counting points, so losing weight the healthy way :)
