Short LP on first cycle off pill

Hi ladies, looking for some advice and reassurance please. I have just completed my first cycle after coming off the pill, I have been tracking my temp on fertility friend, which says I ovulated on CD19 and now 7 days later and here is AF . So that?s a LP of only 6 days. Has anyone else had such short LP after coming off the pill and did it go back to ?normal?? How long did it take?

I have read about vitamin B6 so planning on stopping off at boots on the way home tonight to see if that helps this cycle. Any other tips????

Anyone managed to conceive with such a short LP?

6 days is very short BUT this is your first cycle off the Pill so I would just wait and see if your body settles down in a couple of cycles' time.

I had this for a few cycles off the pill. Mine is now 11/12 days which is shortish but much better than the 7 it was!

Give yourself a few cycles to settle down and b vits do seem to work!

I had exactly the same experience as farfallarocks - a couple of cycles straight after I came off the pill where OV was really late and therefore LP very short. Since then my cycle length has stayed pretty much the same at 27-28 days, but OV has moved earlier so my LP is now 12-13 days. That happened by cycle 3 for me, so I'd give it a few cycles and see, and fingers crossed it will sort itself out.

I have no idea what my first two LP were as I wasn't charting but mine have gone from 10 days to 12 to 13 days over the last seven months. I wouldn't worry too much at this stage!

Also, are you just spotting or do you have proper red flow? Sorry for a personal question! I thought I had a super short LP at first as I was mistaking premenstrual spotting for the start of AF when actually you should count from red flow.

Thanks everyone, it's reassuring to know that others have had the same experience and that it settled down fairly quickly. I'm just being impatient and want to be pregnant now itkwim!
