Heloo, I went for an internal scan yetsterday due to having a miscarriage last week :( They said all looks fine and was passed naturally. But they did find a 5cm "simple cyst" dispite them telling me it was nothing too worry to much about, and that another scan will be in 6weeks, and i could also ttc after my next period and family telling me they have had them and r fine. im still so worried. just feels like everythings gone wrong :( has anybody been through anything similar, need too no theres light at the end off the tunnel. thankyou xx

Yep! I had exactly the same, a cyst (a bit bigger than yours) and mmc discovered at the same scan.

I had regular scans and it slowly shrank until it was completely gone after 5 months. They nearly always disappear on their own and most women get them at one time but don't know because they don't usually cause any problems and are only diagnosed with a scan. If they get very large they'll operate I think 7cm and getting bigger is the rough guideline they use (mine was 7cm and shrinking so they gave me the option of surgery or letting it take care of itself).

I ovulated regularly whilst the cyst was still there, though only out of the other ovary (I get strong ov pains) and got pregnant 5 months after my mc, I concieved a week or so after the last scan that confirmed it had gone.

Don't worry about it at all, it's not likely to cause any problems. Though if you get very sudden, severe pain in your abdomen that gets worse get yourself to A&E as it may have burst and you'll need strong painkillers.
