Ovulation test sticks - any recommendations?

Hi all. I have some cheapo Amazon ovulation test sticks which I'm using. But I just wondered if they're actually any good (on the first month at the moment). Has anyone else used these, and is it worth paying all that extra money for Boots ones etc.? Thanks.

Personally I prefer the (mega expensive) clearblue digi ones. These give you a yes or no answer with no need to spend time staring at lines trying to work out if one is darker than the other! But you might get on fine with the cheapey ones. Give them a go.

I use those tests op, I find them very good, and conceived on the second month of using them. I find they work better if the urine is cold, so unfortunaly peeing in a cup and leaving it for a while to reach room temp. then the test worked better and the line was clearer.

OK, will stick with the cheapo ones I think. DH is horrified by any of this costing over a fiver. Will leave my wee sitting around in a cup for a while. We'll see if he thinks it's worth the extra cost to avoid that.

I to use the clearblue digital ones, they show up a smiley face if ovulating so no worries about faint lines etc... I get them on amazon £9 for 7 instead of about £20.00 in boots! Really quick and simple to use! X

I use the amazon ones and I think they are fine. I did spend the first month thinking is that positive or not, but when I actually got a positive there was no mistaking it, so I felt more confident in them after that IYSWIM.

I think it's worth trying them first before the clear blue ones just because of the cost - especially if your cycles aren't regular.

Also, the clearest results (for me) was with second morning urine (sorry if TMI!)
