Trying to take a more relaxed approach to ttc but with very irregular af it's hard not to obsess over ov . So I have been thinking of getting a CBFM but I don't want to waste my money as they are quite expensive .

I would appreciate some pros and cons MNers ! :)

Pros - allows most people to identify that they are ovulating. Gives you a few days advance warning of ovulation so you can get some sex in before hand too. If it's hard to have regular sex due to your lifestyle this can help you make sure you at least get the best days.

cons - its expensive and the sticks are expensive. it's not really suitable if your cycle is very irregular, especially if you have cycles longer than 35 days. If you are having sex three times a week anyway, a cbfm will not really "add" that much to your chances.

Mmmmm ... Don't think I will bother then my last cycle was 40 days long !!

Was just thinking because I am irregular it maybe help me know when it's best to dtd . We both work shifts and already have DD so the best we can so is every third night and sometimes even that doesn't happen !! Aw well suppose theres not really much i can do will just need to leave it to nature !Grin

They only work if your cycles are less than 40 days long iirc.

Have you considered charting? Check out www.fertilityfriend.com :)

I've heard from ttc threads about charting but with DD and my hectic work schedule it seems like a lot of work !!

I will look into it now thought thanks Smile
