Can implantation bleeding be quite heavy?

Can it almost be like a period? Or is it really just spotting?

I am probably being paranoid but last month DH and I took a chance. Then my period was three days late which NEVER happens. I took a test and it was negative. Ten minutes later there was a v faint line but I assumed it was an evaporation line because later that day my period started.

The thing is that my period is usually very heavy. It usually lasts 6 days. This period was what I imagine a regular period would be like (i.e. regular tampons work for four hours or so), but it was lighter than anything I have had since I was much, much younger. Also it seems to have finished three days instead of the normal six.

Am I just being paranoid or should I test again?

Yes I think you should test again to be sure. Lines that appear too late can be evap lines but it seems that quite often they can also be early positives, especially if the line has colour (rather than being just grey).

Hope you get the result you want. Do you have any other symptoms that make you suspicious?
