had pos ov test on day 14 but 12 hours later was neg! Temp still not gone up yet, I'm on day 18. Thought after having pos ov test it would have gone up next day - any thoughts on this??

That's normal the spike in the hormone can last for a very short time so chances are you did ov

If you are taking your temp correctly (and using a thermometer with 2 decimal places) then it sounds as though you haven't ovulated. Ovulation tests only measure the spike in hormone that can precede ovulation, but it doesn't necessarily follow that ovulation happens.
Perhaps you just ovulate late. How long is your cycle?

agree with rancer, you may not have ovulated yet. getting an LH surge doesnt mean you will definitely ovulate. How old are you? some women don't ovulate every month, especially as they get older. Is it a basal thermometer? are you being careful about when you take your temp?
