dear ladies quick help pls; I can't remember for the life of me when my period was in dec and I'm beginning to think maybe I didn't have one certainly not after Christmas and I dont miss periods for no reason not stressed or I'll either but the clearblue test only says 3wk + how accurate are they? I didn't read instructions and threw them away as at work.i feel quite sick cld I be more pg than that?

Well a positive is a positive... False positives are very rare...

iv done 2 normal tests and 1clearblue it's just the 3wk+ thing....

It's 3+ weeks from conception on clearblue so in gestational terms you'd be 7 weeks + from lmp

Would that not be 5 weeks+ Assuming lmp approx 2 weeks before conception?

Sorry Cashmere you are right. I was assuming no period in December so would be 7+ weeks from lmp now but the clearblue you are right you add 2 weeks on to what it says but 3+ is the most it says. Instructions here op

Also, the CBD tests only show up to 3+ so you could well be more than 5 weeks. As in they only show 1-2, 2-3, then 3+ but don't go any higher, even if you're further along. However, I think there becomes a point where your hcg starts to drop but I can't remember when that is (sorry).

A scan would be the only way to date it all properly. But if you were only 5 weeks along a scan wouldn't necessarily show anything.
